To make the best of the wonderful views, we turned
the house upside down so that the living room, dining area and kitchen are on the top
floor, under the exposed, original wooden beam roof. Large picture
windows look out over breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding peaks
– even the locals say it’s one of the best views in the valley. Sliding doors
lead out on to a large south-facing terrace.
The living space is an L-shaped area of
about 50 square metres.
